WHO I AM

I am Alslyn, a teenaged artist based in Denver. Alslyn is an independent project that I created to grow and network within the music industry anonymously. I specialize in producing electronic music, with an emphasis on ambient and lo-fi songs. I execute my own vocals and production. 

COMMISSIONS 

Over the last six months, I have been contracted to create twelve songs of varying genres, such as dance music, house, alternative rock, orchestral, classical, and more. I accept commissions through Twitter/X and email.

Along with a song, I sometimes create and edit a music video for each project using public-domain footage. 

Instructions from the patron are welcomed and encouraged, though most have decided to grant me full creative freedom.

MY PRODUCTION

My music production is primarily executed within the program Logic Pro X. Every aspect of my music is self-taught and individually achieved.

I play guitar and piano, but I specialize in using my vocals as an instrument. For example, listen to my song Synesthesia.

I draw substantial inspiration from independent artists who have achieved growth within the music industry by networking, specifically Grimes, Dora Jar and Pearly Drops, all of whom I have had the privilege of forging connections with online in recent months. I especially have respect for fellow female producers, who are under-represented in the modern music industry.
